Dark Romance and Baroque Fashion for Fall Winter 2013-14

Getting deep ahead of the game to the 2013-14 fall and winter seasons, the trending fashion will include dark romance and baroque. Each of these styles is edgy and unique in their own two ways.

Fall and winter seasons are typically the seasons to wear dark colors. To add the romantic feel, these women feature mainly neckline outfits. Roses are a sign of love, and blend in beautifully to the dresses the models are wearing in the photo above. This fierce look gives off a dark tone that beautifies a woman in her own way. The best part of wearing dark and romantic clothing is the fact that accessories such as boots, gloves, and darker makeup come out during these seasons.

What I personally like about the baroque style is the fact that it portrays the Renaissance. I love what people wore way back before the 21st century and the fact that these women wear old fashioned patterns simply makes me jealous! I like to think of these patterns as a type of creation. Renaissance means "rebirth" and this style relates almost as if the 2013 and 2014 seasons are rebirthing that time period in fashion. The dark patterns and heavy clothing represent the fall and winter seasons and give a unique twist to current trends in the industry.

Spring and Summer 2013 Colors

As the spring and summer seasons approach rapidly, more bright colors will be pulled out and dark colors will be hung back up into closets. Two specific colors that will become popular in the 2013 spring and summer seasons are peony and green calcite.

What I love most about the color peony is the fact that it blends so perfectly with the spring and summer seasons, whether 2013 or currently. As bright flowers begin to bloom, a woman's wardrobe should be in full bloom as well. I also like that this color can be coordinated with other brights. If for example a woman wears a peony colored blazer, she may wear a lighter pink, sky blue, or canary yellow under the blazer, with white or nude colored bottoms or skirt. Then the accessories including shoes, hat, jewelry, purse, and makeup will all follow and can match the shirt under the peony blazer. This color is great to put together with others and will make a woman's skin glow.

This color is fashionable and I think what I love most about it is the fact that it is a bright color, yet a light one at the same time. What I personally love about light colors is that it leaves a woman's skin looking darker than usual, and that is exactly what women should be aiming for during the spring and summer seasons! I love this color not only for clothing, but particularly accessories. Similar to the peony pink, this green calcite color goes great with the color white. If a woman was to wear a little white dress and add green calcite jewelry, eyes will be locked onto her outfit the entire night! With those women who love keeping out their dark colors for spring and summer, green calcite works well with dark colors for nighttime outings, benefiting a woman's closet that much more.
